Axel

Hi, my name is Stacy and I am a certified operational search and rescue K9 handler and I work with two Border Collies that are operational in area 1, disaster and land cadaver. I got a Belgian Malinois two years ago and it was my first experience with a Mal.

I didn’t want to make any mistakes with a breed I had not worked with before, so I accompanied my friend Patty when she picked up her dog, Tess, from Midwest Malinois and I thank you for letting me come and visit your kennels.

I was so impressed and learned so much about the Belgian Malinois. Your information was so helpful to a first-time Mal owner. Being in search and rescue and training dogs myself, I was amazed at the drive and determination of this breed. I am so grateful to have someone with your knowledge helping me train my Mal, Axel. He is currently being trained in search and rescue and is doing extremely well. Axel is such a joy and is coming along so quickly but is definitely different from my two Border Collies.

I now call Kevin very frequently with questions on every aspect of caring for my Malinois. I highly recommend Kevin to anyone interested in purchasing a Belgian Malinois, as they are not a dog for the inexperienced. They are high energy and very intelligent and need someone who knows their personality.

Kevin has great dogs and experience with breeding and raising well-balanced Mals. He is honest and helpful and runs a clean kennel with dogs that are well cared for. He is a breeder that follows up on the dogs he raises and sells and is always willing to help his customers. He definitely has my stamp of approval.

Needless to say, I am hooked on Mali’s now, along with my Border Collies. I am recommending your kennel to any new search and rescue prospects interested in looking for a K9 companion for search and rescue work. Thank you for all of your help in the past and I will be checking regularly with you in the future.
