Fontaine d’Or Bridget, born August 24, 2003, is a daughter of Tyr (Yakk von Joe Farm) and Nedji (Nedji du Bois des Trembles) and came to us from the Fontaine d’Or Working Malinois kennel in Ontario, Canada. Bridget weighs approximately 53 lb. and is extremely intelligent and learns very quickly.

Bridget has learned to do her own shopping at the area pet stores. She pushes her own grocery cart at the pet store and knows how to select her own toys and place them in the cart. There is a dog treat buffet from which she picks her “special treats” -- she knows by sight and smell which are the chocolate chip cookies. Wherever she goes, people are amazed at her abilities and intelligence. She’s not “just another pretty face.” When in public, she handles herself as a perfect lady. She is very controllable, very social, and she loves people and places.

She is smart enough to know that it’s time to go to work at the command, “Ready.” Her entire frame of mind changes like flipping a light switch. With a single command, she will attack without hesitation and release immediately on command. Her favorite play is doing sleeve work at which she is extremely good. She is the perfect little protector when called upon.
