Fontaine d’Or Bullet is 70 lbs of pure drive. He was born November 25, 2003, and is a littermate to Molly, son of Jason and Tessa (Asstra van Joe Farm), from Fontaine d’Or Working Malinois kennel in Ontario, Canada. Bullet’s awesome father, Jason, was the French Ring Champion for North America for 2000 and is now retired.
Bullet has the longer hair and is a bright red with full black mask and feet. His primary goal in life is to please. His drive is beyond compare. On the “A” frame, there is no climbing. With a single jump, he’s on top and down the same way. He’ll go over the “A” frame like it is a hurdle. The “A” frame is over 7 feet tall and he loves it. There’s no obstacle he won’t try to do when asked. His sleeve work has intimidated a lot of helpers because there is such aggression and drive, far more than helpers are used to. When helpers are caught unaware, they find themselves on the ground.
Regardless of weather, hot or cold, Bullet is tireless and only wants to go on working. All training is done in “prey drive” and to all our dogs, they think it’s “play drive.” All of our training is done as enjoyment from start to finish.
One of the places we frequent on a regular basis is our local city market. The regular customers and vendors have grown to know our dogs. Even though our dogs are very similar in looks, Bullet stands out. When out in public, people are in awe of his beauty. Some of the kids who don’t have their own dogs look forward to seeing ours. They like feeling Bullet’s big ears because they feel like velvet. They have nicknamed some of our dogs and bring them dog treats including potato chips. Their name for Bullet is “Beautiful Bullet” because he is so gorgeous. The kids only see these sweet gentle dogs which they can hug and kiss without any fear. We encourage this relationship and will continue to do so.
